The Roofing Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems with precision and care. This role requires technical skill, physical stamina, and a commitment to delivering top-tier workmanship on every project.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace various roofing systems (metal, shingle, tile, flat, etc.)
- Conduct roof inspections and identify damage or potential issues
- Measure, cut, and secure roofing materials accurately
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean job site
- Work closely with team members to complete projects on time
- Communicate progress or issues to supervisors
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing or construction-related roles
- Strong knowledge of roofing tools, equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Good physical fitness and stamina
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques
- Valid driving license preferred
